This adorable 7-year-old Shih Tzu may have spent the first part of his life as a breeder dog, but these days he's making up for lost time by discovering just how wonderful it is to be loved. His signature move? The "I'm SO HAPPY You're Here!" Zoomie Routine. When he sees his favorite person, he comes racing over, does excited little circles around your feet, zooms away, then immediately zooms back for another round-just in case you didn't fully appreciate how thrilled he is to see you. It's equal parts comedy show and heartfelt greeting. This sweet boy is a world-class snuggler who firmly believes that human laps were invented specifically for Shih Tzus. He loves being held, loves being petted, and would happily accept a full-time position as your personal cuddle consultant. If you're looking for a dog who genuinely enjoys affection, he's your guy. He's kennel trained and is such a good boy that he'll often wander into his kennel on his own when he's ready for a nap. We're still working on potty training, and his future family should expect to continue helping him learn the ropes. He may also need some leash-training practice since he's currently accustomed to enjoying a securely fenced yard. What he lacks in training experience, he more than makes up for in sweetness. He's a happy, goofy little lovebug with a heart full of affection and a personality that will keep you smiling. Watching him discover the joys of being a cherished family member has been an absolute delight, and now he's ready to find a forever home where he can continue to blossom.
