Not every Survivor winner gets there by making the most noise. Some simply know exactly who they are. They quietly build relationships, make smart decisions, and before anyone realizes what's happened...They've completely stolen your heart. Meet Dee. There's something incredibly special about Dee's personality. She's gentle, polite, and wonderfully calm. While the rest of the puppy tribe may still be conducting highly important wrestling tournaments and zoomie competitions, Dee has often already decided she's accomplished everything she needed to for the day. She's the puppy who'll happily curl up beside you while you read a book, nap at your feet while you work, and gently remind you that not every wonderful thing in life has to arrive with fireworks and fanfare. Sometimes the greatest treasures are the quiet ones.
Dianelys Maria "Dee" Valladares is a 6-week-old, 12-pound female Great Pyrenees/potential Anatolian Shepherd mix. Mom certainly looks like a purebred Great Pyrenees, but Dad has remained one of rescue's greatest unsolved mysteries. Somewhere out there he's blissfully unaware that an entire rescue is still trying to identify him. Until he decides to emerge for the reunion episode, "potential Anatolian Shepherd mix" is the best answer we've got. Dee came to rescue alongside her incredible mama, Carolyn, and all of her siblings after their little tribe found themselves abandoned with nowhere safe to go. Based on her current growth, we'd estimate she'll probably mature somewhere around 70-80 pounds...give or take. As soon as Jeff Probst hands us the hidden immunity idol that predicts the future we can say for sure. One thing we don't have to guess is the kind of dog Dee is becoming. She's gentle, thoughtful, quietly affectionate, and already showing all the signs of becoming the kind of loyal companion who doesn't need to demand your attention because somehow...she already has your heart.
Dee may be one of the calmer members of the OKC tribe, but don't mistake calm for unsocial. This sweet girl absolutely loves other dogs. She's had the most experience with Katmai, the incredibly patient and gentle resident "auntie," and Dee thinks she's wonderful. She and her siblings happily climb all over her, snuggle beside her, play with her, and generally treat her exactly the way they treat their own mama. However, the other resident dog, Parker has also spent some time with the puppies, but unlike Katmai, he isn't entirely convinced that being followed everywhere by a dozen pounds of enthusiastic fluff is the reward challenge he signed up for. Dee, however, is blissfully optimistic they will become besties. Like every puppy her age, Dee has absolutely no idea she's much smaller than the adult dogs around her. In her mind, they're simply bigger members of the alliance, and she's delighted to be included. Cats remain one of the few contestants who haven't joined Dee's season of Survivor yet. She hasn't officially met one, but she's young enough that, with proper introductions, she'd have every opportunity to learn how to live respectfully alongside feline family members. Knowing Dee's personality, we'd imagine she'd politely wander over thinking, "Hello! I was wondering if perhaps you'd like to be friends?" Children haven't officially crossed paths with Dee just yet, but based on everything we've seen, we'd be surprised if they weren't a wonderful match. While some puppies announce their arrival by launching themselves directly into the action, Dee has a much gentler approach. She'd probably be the puppy quietly walking over to investigate, wagging her tail, politely introducing herself, and patiently waiting for someone to notice she'd also appreciate a few pets. And let's be honest...Who could resist that face? Of course, like with any puppy, we'd always encourage teaching both children and Dee how to interact respectfully with one another. Puppies are learning, kids are learning, and together they can build wonderful friendships.
Dee's energy level lands around a 4 out of 10. She'll wrestle with her siblings, explore the puppy yard, investigate toys, and happily join in on the fun. However, she just doesn't see the need to operate at maximum speed all day long. What really makes Dee special, though, isn't her lower energy level. It's the quiet sweetness that comes with it. This little girl is gentle. She's polite. She's calm. When she's awake, she absolutely wants affection. She'll wander over looking for pets, cuddles, and a little one-on-one time with her people. There's something incredibly peaceful about her. She has the kind of temperament that makes you slow down without even realizing it. You'll be sitting on the floor watching the puppy chaos unfold when suddenly Dee wanders over, sits beside you, and gently reminds you that sometimes the best moments aren't the loud ones. Honestly...if Survivor handed out a million dollars for emotional intelligence, Dee might've already won the season.
Like every Survivor contestant, Dee still has a few challenges ahead. Potty training is one of the biggest. Right now she's just beginning to understand that humans have designated bathroom locations, and she's doing her best to connect all the dots. Leash training will be another fun adventure. Dee's calm personality may make her seem like she'll immediately stroll beside you like a seasoned professional...Let's all enjoy that fantasy together for a moment. Reality will probably include stopping to inspect flowers, carefully evaluating leaves, sitting down to contemplate life's biggest questions, and occasionally wondering why this funny string is attached to her at all. Basic obedience is another journey you'll enjoy together. Dee is bright, attentive, and naturally connected to people, which gives her a wonderful foundation for learning. "Sit," "stay," "come," and "leave it" are all well within her abilities. She'll simply appreciate being encouraged instead of rushed. Socialization is one of the most important reward challenges you'll complete together. Dee already has a beautifully balanced personality, and continuing to introduce her to friendly people, polite dogs, different environments, new sounds, car rides, household noises, and everyday adventures will help her grow into the calm, confident gentle giant she's already showing signs of becoming. Her gentle nature is one of her greatest strengths—you'll simply be helping her build confidence as she explores the world around her.
So...If you've decided Dee has officially become the Sole Survivor of your heart, it's time for your final reward challenge. Don't panic. This one's much easier than anything Jeff Probst has ever dreamed up. No balancing on tiny platforms. Instead... Your challenge is to fill out an adoption application.
Once you've heroically defeated this terrifying obstacle, we'll send your application over to Dee's foster family so they can get to know you and decide whether you're the best lifelong match. Around here, we aren't looking for whoever can click "Submit" the fastest—we're looking for the family that's going to love Dee for the next 12+ years. That's a much better prize than a million dollars anyway.

If you're selected, your final reward challenge is a road trip to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where Dee will be patiently waiting to quietly steal your heart all over again.
Now, before anyone asks... No, Dee cannot be overnighted. She cannot be shipped with Amazon Prime. Jeff Probst continues to ignore our requests to personally deliver puppies while dramatically announcing, "The tribe has spoken."
Honestly... We're starting to think he's avoiding us.
